Beautiful boutique hotel with everything one can hope for. The breakfast was really delicious, luxurious and healthy. The owner bakes homemade treats such as cake and even baked one for my birthday. What a lovely surprise! I struggled to find it but Lorenço picked me up from Guia late at night which I really appreciated. The pool is lovely and the rooms have everything you need, with tea and coffee facilities. Yoga and meditation classes are free and they had them every morning. Hiring a car is advisable as the location is away from local amenities. I will definitely come back. Our check in was at 2 and we arrived at 1:50pm and kind of told off for being there 10 minutes early. The house was old, no problems with that but it wasn’t cleaned throughly. The oven tray, the cutlery, the plates were all greasy and/or spotty. It wasn’t easy to reach someone responsible either. Location was Ok. Make sure you have mosquito repellents as the nets on the windows are very old and not efficient.The pool area was Ok, but not enough sunbeds when crowded.
