"Between the light on the alarm clock, the one on the smoke detector and microwave, the room was quite brightly illuminated overnight, thank you very much; not to mention the street lights. Windham is so cheap: you have to sign up for the membership to get a free Wi Fi. Otherwise it's $4.95 per day. And, of course, the receptionist doesn't have access to guest's Wyndham number, even though it's a Wyndham hotel. Strange, isn't it!!! A twenty-buck discount can be had if the room is booked at the last moment, a couple days before the arrival."

"Very different than you would expect for a Laquinta. Hotel was well taken care of, lobby was modern-day and very clean. Room was equipped with what is needed. Though the furniture was a bit tacky and mismatched. Staff were great. Definitely will use this location once a month going forward having tried several area hotels this fits my budget and expectations for my purposes."

"The hotel was beautiful, but the breakfast situation seems so weird! Paying for a continental breakfast at such a nice place was odd, and the pricing wasnt clear. I ate oatmeal and fresh fruit one morning and it was $9, the next morning my friend ate oatmeal and only paid $3. Considering I can get a delicious free breakfast at a $100/night hotel almost anywhere else, I do wonder why this is the policy!"

"My son and I stay at this hotel regularly as he loves to watch trains. The staff is so friendly to both my son and I. They know us every time we come back. Feels like home away from home when we are there. In this day and age do not find this nice of staff in most any places. I highly recommend the stay."

"While the lobby and front desk staff make a great first impression, the guest rooms are in a significant state of disrepair. The outside backdoor window was broken and the secure door was bent, as if attempts to gain entry were made. My room featured a door that didn't align properly with the frame, raising additional safety concerns and the feel that there had also been attempts to gain entry. The interior maintenance was poor, with sliced wallpaper, mismatched patches, and furniture incorrectly assembled with exposed screws. Cleanliness was a major issue, as I found used cough drops on the floor and thick dust throughout the carpet. Even the TV was poorly mounted and crooked. One other caveat is the facility did smell of marijuana inside and outside, which is not appropriate for children. This facility needs urgent attention to meet basic hospitality standards. This is not a handicap accessible facility. The breakfast was good with a spacious seating area. "

"Room was kind of gross, I walked in and the windows were open and they were very hard to close. There were several spiders right on the window sill that had gotten in from the open window. Once I took care of those and closed the windows I realized that despite booking a non smoking room, the room reeked of smoke. Going into the bathroom there not only did it smell like smoke but also urine. They did not properly restock either there was no soap in the bathroom. The surfaces looked like they hadn’t been wiped down either as there were “crumbs” and dust all over."
