"I recently stayed at Agapi Beach Hotel with my husband and our 15-month-old baby, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we found the staff to be rude and inattentive, which made what should have been a relaxing family trip feel quite uncomfortable. As parents travelling with a young child, we really value warmth and support, and this was noticeably lacking throughout our stay. It’s also worth noting that we appeared to be the only Black family at the hotel, which made the overall experience feel even more isolating—particularly given the lack of warmth and attentiveness we encountered. The food was another major letdown. The options were very limited and highly repetitive, which is frustrating when you’ve booked an all-inclusive package expecting variety and quality. It became difficult to even look forward to meals. To make matters worse, the weather during our stay was poor, and there seemed to be no contingency plan in place. Many of the all-inclusive amenities we paid for—such as access to pools, snacks, and drinks—were either unavailable or significantly limited due to the rain. This left us feeling like we didn’t receive the experience or value we had paid for. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations at all, especially as a young family looking for comfort and ease. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience."

"This is a very nice, new and modern hotel. The breakfast every morning is very good and contains a lot of options and variety of food. We arrived early in the morning on our check-in day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and got our room together as soon as possible for check-in a bit before the standard time. Nice view from the sea-facing side of the hotel and only about a 20 minute walk to Heraklion center with a lot of restaurants, shopping, souvenirs, etc. Overall, this was a great stay. "

"The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of things, which was very nice. The rooms were pretty simple but we didn’t mind at all. Aykan Was also very helpful"

"The room was lovely and clean and the bed was fantastic. The staff are amazing and attentive and are happy to help make the stay feel welcoming. The ourdoor area is top notch, comfortable seats and lots of space to relax in the sun. The hotel is not far from all the areas youll want to go and plenty of taxis or car hiring as well. Our only complaints are, we had repeating trouble with the wifi which would shut down and stop working regularly, on one of our nights the lights in our room turned on while we were sleeping and would not turn off. It was also quite noisy but not enough to cause us to lose any sleep. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel as a go to spot and we are considering returning next year."

"This delightful, modern hotel is in the heart of the city and convenient to sights, restaurants and shopping. The staff were absolutely wonderful and wanted nothing more than to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a drink and with our luggage brought up to our suite. The suite was clean, modern and nicely appointed with a king-size bed, thoughtful lighting, spacious bathroom and two places to sit, wi-fi, clothes steamer and coffee maker and fridge. There was also a balcony with a table and chairs. Breakfast was incredible! So many hot and cold choices, freshly brewed coffee and fresh juices. It was a wealth of food riches. As appropriate to health codes, leftover food is boxed and donated to charity. I appreciate an organization that is charitable and supports their community. One can sit inside or outdoors on the back patio. They have a full bar and menu for throughout the day. The spa was very nice - well-equipped workout center, a steam room, sauna and hot tub (which was included in our suite stay). Very nice after a long day. The staff were just fantastic - friendly, attentive, helpful and take pride in caring for their guests. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete!"

"Nothing bad to say. It is a perfect stay and has the perfect staff and perfect anemities. Very clean and close to center. The only negative point was they rang on me at 11am sharp to checkout. They ddnt wait 1 minute :) althu the checkin is at 3pm. They werent flexible on this point. However I still rate them 10/10."

"A lovely oasis outside the main tourist areas yet still close enough to walk to everything. I’d read the reviews about the “rough” neighbourhood, but while it is not picturesque, it always felt safe. The hotel has loveky bright rooms, and is scrupulously clean. We loved having a private ground floor patio with its own lemon tree! There were some wifi issues during our stay, but not specific to the hotel. Biggest plus: the small complement of staff provided excellent recommendations, lots of help with local information, and were unfailingly friendly."
