The pools were a little chilly but great vibes around them & when the sun is shining they feel good! Yummy drinks! The beach was beautiful! The staff & service is phenomenal! The location of the resort is perfect — just steps away from 5th Ave & blocks away from the ferry to Cozumel! All good things!! Can’t wait to go back!! "

"First time at Excellence Maharas, and we spent the day on the beach. The service from Josue and Floricel was outstanding friendly, professional, attentive, and incredibly fast. They treated us with genuine kindness and made the entire experience feel special. Our room was excellent as well comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. What really impressed me was that the director and assistant director personally took time out of their busy day twice to ask how we were enjoying the facility. That final touch showed me this place truly cares about every guest. Because of the way we were treated, we will absolutely return. Truly exceptional service all around. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I would like to report negligence during the implementation of my previously booked "Day Trip to Tulum Mayan Ruins on February 25, 2026." As part of the agreed-upon tour, three people were to be picked up from the GR SOLARIS hotel at approximately 7 a.m. The day before, I received information from Robin Sanches at 52 998 195 7170. This was a refusal to pick us up from the hotel, but instead, a pick-up point was assigned to another hotel (Crab House) approximately 5 km away. This meant a one-hour walk through unfamiliar terrain at night. Our booking details include the following note under "Inclusions": "Return transport to and from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel included." In response to my request to comply with the terms of the agreement, we received an explanation that we had not paid for this service and that this was Expedia.ca's policy. As a result, my wife cancelled the dangerous and disruptive trip in the middle of the night. My son and I arrived at the designated point on time. After about an extra hour, the delayed shuttle arrived, and it turned out it had passed our hotel, the GR Solaris, on its way to the pick-up location (!). In this situation, we expect a refund for Terese Raubic, who was prevented from participating in the tour by an unjustified change to the contract terms. "

"My stay at Riu Palace Las Americas was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were very clean, and the views were amazing. Everyone worked hard to make sure guests were comfortable and enjoying their vacation. Thank you for making our trip to Cancun such a special experience. I would happily return again."

"Room was clean , ocean front was ok , they were repairing the tile on the steps by the broken handrail which I needed to use the rail to get up the rediclous number of steps to check in since the elevator was always under maintenance and not able to use..."

"Very clean room, we had a junior suite. Bathroom door is a shuttered door, not a solid door. There were no wash cloths. Only 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels. These are minor issues. We were next to our pool. Our room didn’t look over the pool or ocean but it is a quiet resort. Staff are wonderful and food was great. Many different restaurants to choose from. You need to book specialty restaurants 1-3 days ahead. But still all inclusive. It was a great vacation."
