The cabin was amazing! It was stocked up with everything needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The best sleep I’ve ever had! I loved the layout of the cabin, and the location was great! The host was very attentive and responded to our messages right away.

Amazing mountain retreat bursting with fall color! With a bedroom and bathroom on all three levels, it's perfect for families who want to stay together and still have some privacy. Loved seeing so many deer! Kelly's guidebook had all sorts of very helpful recommendations for dining and sightseeing. As we explored North Georgia, the cabin served as our home base, and the pictures alone do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and truly felt at home. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay. The host is awesome. She took extra measures to make our stay enjoyable. We already had the best place though. The cabin was quite and peaceful. We truly enjoyed deer watching every day. Families of deer meandered through the place mornings and evenings.The view of the mountains each morning was pure joy. The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, everyone had their own space, and there was no need to bring extra anything, the host made sure the cabin was fully stocked with everthing we needed and then some. The hot tub was used several times and the host made sure it was clean and that we were able to fully enjoy it. We would definitely stay again and I would encourage anyone to give this place a try, because after you stay, you won't want to leave. The drive up was just as pleasant as the cabin. No steep roads or drop offs and surrounded by the trees on both sides. We loved it!

Best Vacation Spot Ever

The owners go above and beyond. It's like being gone without all the chores and so much to do. The games, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, relaxation at to m the majestic log cabin to excellent shops and breathtaking waterfalls within a shooter drive.

Just the getaway we needed!

The home is all that other reviews have said. It is comfortable, and so warm, and, frankly, we did not want to leave. Its views gave us the fresh outlook into 2025 we needed. This trip was a reset for my family of six; two adults and four kids ages 11-16. We fully used the spaces from the living rooms upstairs and down to the porches and the hot tub to the rooms and views. Have zero critiques. Met every expectation and then some. Kelly is a great host too! I loved the kitchen as it was well stocked with serving pieces and such to accommodate our family of six. The appliances are full sized too which helped with the few loads of laundry that inevitably come with family traveling for a week.We explored a bit. Hit Vogel State Park and loved the hiking to the waterfall. Also, shopped at outlets at Dawsonville about an hour away. Helen, Georgia is touristy, but we went anyway and rode the Georgia Mountain Coaster. Had a great lunch and drove karts at the Helen Fun Factory. Kids definitely want to come back soon. Loved it in the winter and look forward to a spring or summer trip, and I imagine the autumn leaves changing time is amazing too.

The Most Amazing Experience

This VRBO has a homey and peaceful feeling. The owners ensure you're comfortable. Everything you want ... comfort, style, peace, majestic views ... the views are AMAZING! The closeness to so much hiking, excellent restaurants, deers/animals, and super nice shops and people. If you're looking to stay in an amazing log cabin that has everything you could hope for ... rent OwlRidge VRBO ... it won't disappoint.

A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle

We stayed at Owl's Ridge for the Labor Day weekend...we were so pleased to learn it was available on short notice (I got the impression the owners permitted us to go in their own place when we inquired, which was certainly kind!) The property itself is lovely and the home is in excellent condition. The setting of the neighborhood feels especially secure due to the gated entry and the surrounding homes are equally appealing. There is ample parking and the rear wooded area is the perfect mountain setting! The front porch views are incredible. Inside the furniture is comfortable and there are plenty of linens for all the beds including throws for couches and lounging. There is a ton on natural light - truly restorative when you're detoxing from digital overload, ha! The wraparound porches and downstairs covered patio offer sitting, a hot tub, and BBQ options. We'd enjoy returning and would invite anyone seeking similar to also book this awesome home!

Awesome cabin

We enjoyed a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin with absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains. The cabin worked perfectly for our family group of four adults and four children. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, and the great recommendations for local restaurants and nearby sites to visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Cabin With a View!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The scenery and the atmosphere is all worth every bit of our 6 hour drive. The hosts were amazing and I definitely recommend you stay here to get away from the busy life. Great disc golf and pickleball close by. Not to mention, the hikes at Vogel were amazing.

Family reunion

Beautiful location in the mountains. Very clean and safe. We loved our stay. Setting the kids up in the basement, contained and entertained was the best part! Beds were comfortable.

Phenomenal Cabin Stay

There are so many wonderful things to say about this property, it is hard to know where to start. The owner, Kelly was awesome - great communication and so easy to reach when needed. The cabin was extremely clean and very well stocked, you will not need anything but your toothbrush for this place. The views were amazing with the beautiful fall colors. We loved the gated community and the exceptional friendly neighbors. What you see is definitely what you get and MORE - the pictures don't do it justice. I give this property 10 stars! We will be back.

A Little Slice of Heaven

Communication with the host was easy and timely before, during, and after our stay. They gave great recommendations for local food and events in the area. Getting in and out of the property was a breeze. The views from the front decks were a slice of Heaven in the morning to enjoy breakfast and to also stargaze at night. The hot tub was great for relaxing and ending the nights. The three stories were great for giving our teenager and mother-in-law space when we needed it and still had spacious areas to come together. The property was very clean and lots of great touches to make it feel like a home away from home. Thank you to our amazing hosts. Five stars and we definitely plan on revisiting this property for future getaways!

Fantastic weekend retreat!

This tucked-way and beautiful home is simply stunning. The mountains are perfectly relaxing, the neighborhood is super quiet (and gated!) and the cabin itself has all you will need for a perfect vacation! We enjoyed fishing, shopping, dining and simply relaxing with our children. The porches were ideal, the leaves were beginning to turn, the town was quaint and the drive in and out was breath-taking. To top it off, Kelly is the perfect host! I highly recommend booking this place if there is any availability left. The ONLY negative is that our trip had to end…kids are already asking when we can come back=)

Gorgeous mountain stay! Relaxing and easy!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous property. The owners are super quick and easy to communicate with and the place is super clean and comfortable. They have everything you could want to make it feel like home away from home. The location cannot be beat! Just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Helen, Dillard, and so much more. We will definitely return!

A tranquil getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It literally had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable and entertaining. The neighborhood is beautiful and gated which made us feel very safe. We highly recommend visiting.

Relaxing NYE with friends

We enjoyed staying here for a weekend to celebrate the New Year with friends. Kelly was very easy to communicate with, and helped with all minor problems we had. She even left us a sweet ornament as a gift!
