Summary:
This four-bedroom terraced house is situated on a peaceful residential street just on the edge of York City Centre. Within walking distance to the historic city walls, it offers easy access to local supermarkets around the corner, as well as a variety of takeaways and traditional pubs nearby.
The Space:
This is a newly converted, furnished, 4-bedroom terraced house. Located on this quiet residential street at the edge of York City centre, walking distance to the city walls. With Waitrose and Morrisons around the corner, a host of takeaways and public houses are also nearby.
As you enter the bright hallway with wall mounted coat rack, there is an option to have the ground floor reception room as either double bedroom with wardrobe and side table. The second reception has two 3-seater, studded leather sofas, wall mounted mirror upon a wooden slat wall effect feature wallpaper. With, dining table and trunk style chest of drawers. The back door opens into a paved courtyard garden, with bistro table to seat two, wooden panelled walls above waist height, making this an ideal space for alfresco dining. The kitchen which is located to the rear of the ground floor off the living/dining area, with dove grey head and base units. Ceramic sink, skylight over the breakfast bar area with three chairs. A variety of integrated appliances, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer. Cookware, crockery, and cutlery is provided.
To the first floor is a single bedroom with bed, side table and wardrobe. There is a further double bedroom, with bed and side table, walk in wardrobe/office, streaming with light from a well-placed Velux window above, desk and chest of drawers.
The house bathroom has a sunken p-shaped bath, rainfall style shower over bath, basin, and WC. Glass wall mounted display shelves and heated towel rail.
To the third floor is the 3rd /4th bedroom, with double bed, desk area, ideal for working from home and bedside tables.
Free on-street parking is available anywhere on the same street as the property. Parking is not guaranteed to be available directly outside the property. (Please note: street width may not be suitable for larger vehicles, parking for these vehicles is available a few streets away from the property known as Bull Lane).
