Curated over two floors with an additional external annexe, this beautifully appointed stone house benefits from having two very good restaurants right on the doorstep.
Arranged over two floors, the main house is spacious and well laid out, comprising of a large triple aspect sitting room featuring a wood burning stove and french doors leading out to the garden, an well-equipped open-plan kitchen with electric range cooker, marble worktops, and dining area, and seating area for up to eight guests overlooking the garden. Upstairs on the first floor, four bright and airy bedrooms are presented; a king-size master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a small double, a twin and a king-size. Inviting and comfortable, you will look forward to retiring to bed after a full day exploring the North York Moors. This rooms are served by a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Facing south, the generous garden to the rear of Saxon House is edged with luscious boarders that lead to the side of the garden. Featuring a patio table and chairs, this is a lovely for guests to share in al fresco dining during the summer months.
Harome is a very attractive village with pretty cottages, many of which are thatched, a church and two renowned restaurants. The Pheasant is a 3 Rosette awarded restaurant, and Michelin star The Star Inn at Harome serves modern Yorkshire food to the highest of standards.
For larger groups, Saxon House is available to book with an additional outdoor annexe opened up.
