Fully Furnished Lake Fork Waterfront Property with Boat House!

Under New Management!!

Welcome to a WONDERFULLY furnished house located on the main water of Lake Fork, one of the best bass fishing lakes in the US. You will enjoy the beautiful trees and the quietness that only the country can bring. Bring the doggies along too. There is a large back yard with a fence for them to run around in. The house is located only 2 doors down from a public boat ramp which makes it convenient to drop your boat in the water and take it to the boat house for the weekend.

If you have children that would like to try fishing you might not want to let one of Lake Fork's most untapped resources pass you by...CATFISH! If you would like to set up a guided fishing trip, whether it would be chasing one of the many record bass that Lake Fork can produce or loading the boat up with catfish or crappie for a fish fry, we can assist you to the right guide for one of the best trips you could ever have! For those who have time to stay a few days during hunting season, you won't want to miss out on a good duck or deer hunt. Guides are available for those too!

Skeeter and McDonald's tournament rates are $200 per night for 2 people and $20 each additional person with a 4 day minimum. If you try to book these days at regular rates I will send the correct invoice.

Fishing Anniversary Trip

Second year staying here! It’s perfect for our annual fishing trip to celebrate our anniversary! So close to necessary shopping or eating! Thank you for the treats! Only disadvantage is no WIFI since there was some weather warnings.

fishing trip

great location near boat ramp and boat house was handy for us to keep the boat we rented. No wifi was the biggest issue. That's a must this day in age so we couldn't get television or take care of emails etc.

All about fishing!

Well the back yard is not fully enclosed which is misleading on the listing. It was very clean which is nice. Conveniently located to boat ramp and its own boat dock. I was glad I brought my own fan and coffee maker. The existing coffee maker was definitely lacking. Beds were comfortable we would stay there again purely for the convenience.

ECLIPSE

This is the perfect property for an avid bass fisherman. Right next to a boat ramp on Fork Lake. Our goal was not fishing for bass, but rather a solar eclipse and we were rewarded with over four minutes of totality! For our purposes, it was a perfect location. The lack of Wifi available and poor phone signal (usually just one bar) made our stay a little more complicated, but we managed. Landlord was very communicative with us (when we had Wifi). Central air and heat worked excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It's a place to sleep

Overall I was really disappointed in the accommodations. The house was dirty and a lot of things were broken, like electric outlets that didn't work and lights that didn't work. The beds were very uncomfortable and none of us got a good night of sleep. There was a grill, but no propane or charcoal. I will say that the proximity to the boat ramp and other amenities was convenient. If you're fishing Lake Fork, this is a dry place to sleep, that's about it. I would not recommend this location for a family vacation.

Met all our needs

We were pleasantly surprised by the first impression when arriving at this property. The interior was redone with paint, flooring and furniture - (y'all need to put up new photos). The house was very clean and well equipped for your small group. There are still some updates needed in the master bathroom in the form of towel rods (the one that's there is no longer on the wall) but that was a minor issue. The HVAC was super comfortable and we took advantage fo the high-speed Internet and flatscreen TV. The boathouse is a 100yd walk from the back door and was functional for docking and recharging a reneted pontoon boat. The public boat launch is literally right around the corner and was super easy to access. Hats off to Lake Fork Boat Rentals - they provided us with a bass fishing designed pontoon boat that was exactly what we needed. We'll be back.

Surprises

We do like the house and property, but there were some quirts. To being with, there was no WIFI, no satilight signal. The picture in the VRBO add showed a TV on a stand with a DVD player and some movies on the selves now the TV is wall mounted and no movies to watch. There is a step down from the kitchen to dinning area, which my wife missed twice. It is not will marked a could cause someone an injury. Both towel racks in the bathrooms, came completely apart when hanging a towel on them. The smoker on the patio could use a couple of new grates. The boat house was functional, but it looked like it was in the process of a rebuild. There was new decking installed, so I would imagine that the table and sinks would be next. Plenty of electrical plug ins, and the boat lift does work. Would my wife and I stay here again? We decided that we would. Knowing what to expect next time we go.

Great Location

This was a great place to crash while not on the water fishing. The place is in dire need of some TLC but it provided the bare essentials and we had a great time.

Great location

This is our third year to stay in this home! It’s perfect for our boat to park in the carport! The ramp is within walking distance! The home is perfect for our needs! The new master bed is really comfortable! Thank you for a great week! Also, appreciate the Wi-Fi and TV options for evenings! See you next year!!!

Fish didn't cooperate but still a good trip

Location was great, right next to the boat ramp. Boat stayed on the water the whole time in the slip. Flooding shut down the fishing but, everything else was simple and convenient.

Over all the place was clean except, there was dog hair on the furniture, ants were all over covered parking and got in my boat. The ceiling is falling from the condensation of the A/C vent. Other then that the place is nice.

We paid 120 to fix the electrical on the lift (so it could be used) and repayment was refused by owner. Fish cleaning station falling apart, old fish guts in sink made it unusable.Washing maching broken, " not fixable until our 2 week stay was over. doorknob to laundry room falling apart. master bathroom shower stall floor seems ready to break. 2 teaspoons, 3 soup spoons, 12 forks. 6 knives... really ?? plastic silverware in another drawere.Good beds, air conditioning, great yard and shade trees. nice house overall... just need better routine upkeep. it would've been nice to have even 1 page of "helpful hints" like ... garbage pickup is monday AM, broom can be found ??where?

I have to have my boat and both car and truck professionally cleaned due to the aunts that took over the A/c vents leak water caused me to slip and fall mold in ceilings where the Sheetrock is wet due to AC leaking they is no fans in bed rooms one tv in the entire house master bathroom shower is cracked on floor of it leaks out of the bottom no washer dryer woke up to ants in bed room and in kitchen it could be a very nice property but there is no upkeep and it’s is way over priced I tried working with the Host but to no prevail I had to leave a negative post please. Be aware before renting

Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is a little outdated, but everything works fine. Our biggest disappointment was the condition of the yard. It had not been mowed in quite some time. Overall, we were pleased with the house and would stay again.

Enjoyed the stay!

The house was adequate for a fishing weekend. Everything was there that we needed. It is obviously a work in progress and coming along well. Does need more lighting. The boat ramp was close. Dock was usable. We will rent this again. I would reccomend bringing a wifi hotspot.
