"The hotel overall was an older property and could use some updating. There were a few oddities, like what is usually the main light switch actually supplies electricity to the refrigerator and microwave. The entrance was not off the main road but was from a side road that brought me to the back of the hotel. The room was well kept and I had a great sleep in that bed. The hotel was quiet. I didn't hear noise from the other rooms or parking lot. The aircon worked so well I turned it off when I went to bed and the room was still very cool when I woke up. The staff was very helpful and directed me to a great restaurant. Breakfast was kind of a letdown. I ended up going out for breakfast. Overall, I liked the place, and I would probably stay there again if I were in the area. I would give it an overall rating of 7.9/10."

"Can't say enough good things about the Spruce Nest and our host Tom. Tom is a fantastic host with a great notebook with property instructions and information. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean. The new AC was a huge plus as it was fairly warm during our visit."

"Great location Downtown and walking distance to great restaurants and coffee. Very nice setting, Clean and very well kept with new appliances. Restaurant patio rooftops across street can be a little loud fyi if you’re looking to turn it in early. Overall great experience and being able to walk to everything in town was perfect ."

"You can’t beat the location! If you are looking for a sweet, rustic cabin next to a flowing creek, this is the place! It is perfect for 1-2 couples who enjoy the outdoors and being in a beautiful setting. We loved it for its location close to town, proximity to hiking and fishing options and excellent restaurants. We would definitely come back!"
