"This was a very nice hotel with excellent customer services and clean, comfortable rooms. We especially appreciated how close it was to Nara Park and a covered shopping area with lots of local shops (including a Daiso) and a large variety of eating establishemnts."

"This is one of a handful of classy historic hotels near major rural attractions in Japan. A real old fashioned high-end style and treatment that makes you think you're in the 1930s. The location is convenient to the Nara Park where the historic attractions are located. It is not in walking distance of either train station."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was quite spacious and cleanly decorated, very comfortable. Public bath was modern and clean, very relaxing."

"2 year old hotel conveniently located close to the city hall. Modern and comfortable, quiet as well. The breakfast was consistently crowded but that is due to Silver Week. Really helpful staff. The price of the breakfast was not included for our child and we found it somewhat over-inflated at 23,000 yen per day as a half-price. Would recommend."

"Overall, the hotel was elegant. We could not believe how quiet it was given that it's connected to the train station and right at the foot of the street that leads to the park. Great rooms and great location. We would definitely stay there again."
