Worth the trip there for the amenities but food is also good near by.

My friends and I stayed here for one night during what was supposed to be the peak time for Sakura in Lake Yamanakako. This place did not disappoint despite the Sakura being shy. The view from our room And the rooftop was incredible, the owners and workers were also incredibly kind and attentive. Overall we felt so grateful for our experience.

Room is big, clean and cozy. Environment is great and peaceful. Location is good. It is only 10 minutes walk to the lake. We had a great time here.

Incredible experience. Staff members are excellent, anticipating all needs, and ensured a comfortable stay with clear communication. They confidently used translation tools to communicate. Everything is laid out for you to use, in the tent, bathroom, campfire and kitchens (dinner and breakfast to grill). Private space and really cozy. The weather was bad so we couldn’t see Fuji-san for most of our visit but the property was well worth it no matter what. The mountain came out the say hello in the...

The view of Mt Fuji is amazing and there was plenty to do. Bike riding, coffee shops and boating.

The hosts were fantastic, plenty of parking free, common area with amenities, including swiss hot cocoa!! We met very interesting people there because you feel like at home.

One of the most enjoyable stays thus far during my trip to Japan!

Visited with my family recently. It’s a family owned property, excellent service and very friendly staff. Owners went above and beyond at every opportunity, including dropping 7 of us with luggage at nearby bus stop. Breakfast was yummy and thank you for accommodating our vegetarian request!! Enjoyed Ryokan with traditional night wear too ! We would highly recommend this wonderful place at foothills in Mt. Fuji with Lake Yamanakako lake in walkable distance.

Everything was great , besides the shower was very cold and the water pressure wasn’t good , besides that everything was great great great

Staff for check in is abundant and helps with “Japanese” service. We stayed in a Japanese-Western combo room which was well updated and spacious for family of 5. 2 different big baths in annex which were both updated and nice!

Front desk staff were very courteous and understanding. My only gripe is the centralized AC system but opening the window helped cooling the room a lot. Across the street from the Yamanakako-ashiagaoka bus stop, which helps get around! Will definitely book them again for my next stay in the Yamanakako area!!!

Extremely friendly staff went above and beyond to help me and my partner. The room was clean and sleeping on a traditional futon was a fun experience. My partner and I never slept better! The traditional bath was nice as well. There’s shared toilets separated between male and female. The toilet room was always clean, smell good, and had a heated seat. You get to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake (we recommend renting a bike and eating at the local restaurants). Also, when you look behind...

Great breakfast, nice onsen, tennis facilities. Clean room. Free shuttle into town

Very nice and clean. Tub was wonderful.

Great well maintained facilities. They give lot of helpful accessories like overcoat for outside and wood for fire. Sauna and hot tub very nice also. Has great indoor grill, fridge microwave to prepare your food. Only wish the shower area was a little warmer but otherwise wonderful

Great view of Mt. Fuji!

Excellent location and views
