"This was our luxury stay in Japan. We absolutely loved the traditional ryokan and the private onsen was just dreamy. We had the option to book an hour every morning and evening—we just booked in the evening because in the morning we are usually ready to get our day started (and I think the bookings started maybe at 8am?). "The view from our room was amazing, loved waking up to see mt. Fuji every morning. Traditional Japanese room with tatami floor was a great experience. Great value for the price if you don’t mind a shared bathroom. Onsen style bathrooms, tidy but could use a little extra TLC. Staff were helpful. Bikes are available for rent, definitely recommend using them as we got to see so much of the town while riding around. Overall we had an amazing experience staying here and I would stay again! "

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
