"Clean room and decorated really well but sharp and direct staff upon entry. No restaurant despite advertised as such, It is now only open until 4 as it only serves brunch. Walls paper thin, rooms tiny and breakfast was very bad. Cooked breakfast available but poor choice and only chicken sausages and turkey bacon. No turkey bacon available, no avocado available, no mushrooms available. Poached eggs were full of water when cut open Just a bit a great experience. Looks nice at first glance but peel back the layers and it’s not very good at all."

"Loved our stay at Appleshine! Magnificent spot with views looking out to Castle Hill and surrounding area. Rolling hills and local farms making up a picturesque scene. Cottage is small but has everything you need. It is furnished tastefully and feels like home. Beds are comfortable and linen is crisp. We hope to enjoy another stay in the not too distant future.
