"The property is attractive, room was lovely and clean, grounds were appealing and we had a room with French doors leading outside with a small table and chairs outside which was great for breakfast etc. There is a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal which is a bonus if you fancy self catering. Adam was helpful and informative. Very quiet and relaxing location and perfect for visiting the area although you do need a car."

"I understand the rental was new, so there's some scope for improvement, but we got off to a bad start when I booked the property but was then told the pictures did not relate to the flat available. After negotiating we stayed, and the smart TV did not stream any channel or even Netflix, but although the shower immersion heater unit worked, the tap only ran cold in the bathroom sink, and there could have been a few more mugs, cutlery and some side plates would have been helpful. "This Ibis is excellent value and I’ve stayed a number of times over the last 4 years. My only concern this time is the breakfast. The breakfast food is excellent, well cooked and a great range of foods. However the staff couldn’t keep up with demand. Between 8-9am food ran out. At times There was no milk, bread, pastries, cutlery and even space to sit and eat. Perhaps additional staff should be added between These hours to help replenish stocks. The same applies to reception. Frequently only one person was left to deal with checking out and checking in guests. This could be better managed. Other than the above minor problems it’s a good place to stay."

"Brilliant stay, I'll definitely be back regularly! Everything was great. I'm a female solo business traveller and this literally ticks every box - clean and well-appointed spacious room, plenty of sockets for chargers, hair dryer etc, comfortable bed, plenty of parking close to the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, great bathroom, walk in shower instead of climbing over the bath and good storage for luggage and clothes. Someone has thought of literally everything which isn't always apparent in other hotels. Also very quiet with lovely surroundings. And the window opens! Honestly quite blown away by my stay and wish I'd come here sooner!"

"The staff at the Porters Lodge and at breakfast were excellent and very helpful. The room was minimalist, but the bed and chair was comfortable. The college is the middle of Cambridge and ideal in my case for meetings at two other colleges within easy walking distance. The only down side is that my room was on a third floor which entailed going up a steep and narrow set of steps with a suitcase. There was no lift and while not impossible with a small overnight bag with a larger suitcase, or anyone elderly, or infirm, or in need of stick to get around, would have found this very difficult. Hot breakfast was fine and typically long tables and benches to sit on."

"I cannot fault the staff at this place. They were all really lovely and always willing to help. The breakfast is decent and ample parking on site. The rooms are a good size and very clean. We really appreciated that there was already a fan in the room alongside the AC - needed in the heatwave."

"Stayed for one night as a halfway point to our summer holiday. Arrived early evening and got checked in inside a few minutes. Asked at reception for some extra pillows for the beds, which were delivered within a few minutes. We all slept soundly, little to no noise from either the services car park or within the hotel. Room was a little warm, with a fan provided. It's a good value for money no-frills hotel and we'll be back next time we do the same journey. We didn't use the restaurant in the hotel, but breakfast and dinner is available - there's a wide range of food and drink available and prices are reasonable (to compete with the eateries elsewhere on site). The bar is open to hotel guests only."
