「Zauberhafte Apartments am Rand von Paarl. Mit dem Auto super zu erreichen. Wir fanden die mitgeschickte Karte wenig hilfreich, man kann sich getrost auf Google Maps verlassen. Apartments auf hübschem Weingut mit einem Privatpool. Das Frühstück wird à la carte zubereitet. Beste Kosmetik / Pflegeprodukte auf der gesamten Garden Route, da können selbst 5* Hotels nicht mithalten.」

The gardens and farm are not a performance - at over 2000 acres and something like 700 staff they somehow manage to seamlessly blend luxury with genuine production, and the variety is extraordinary. 「Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.」

「We had a great time at Sandmartins over the 2022 Christmas holiday. The house is very well equipped, clean and secure. Sandra is a great communicator and kept us nicely informed through the entire process. She even decorated the house for Christmas for us! As is common in South Africa, load shedding does impact this property, but we appreciated the small backup battery that kept the internet and Tv going. Also there is a large and heavy cover over on the pool table. Our lesson was not to place...

「Nice property but they weren't very accommodating. We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner 」

「Huge room, perfect if juggling WFH as I was. Nice kitchenette, all mod-cons. Spacious balcony. This place is above regular hotel standard, by size! The food in nearby Club house was superb. 」
