We planned to gather with family for the holiday, and had several pretty specific needs for our group: minimal stairs/all on one level (nearly everything we found close to the beaches had a full flight of stairs to climb just to get into the unit, and the living spaces were spread over 2-3 floors!), minimum 4 sleeping rooms, 2 full bathrooms, a good kitchen for cooking (we would be there over the holiday).The "Private Paradise" DELIVERED. Impeccably clean, with 5 super-comfy bedrooms including 2 with en suite baths (including 1 walk-in shower for older mother-in-law), in an extremely quiet neighborhood, wonderful living spaces that enabled our group of 7 to really spread out and do puzzles, games (lots of them provided!), bake cookies, serve family meals at the table, and even take a quick 30-minute jaunt to Carolina Beach. Plus, only 15 minutes from Wilmington airport, so very easy travel in and out. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for big meals and baking. Though it was too chilly for swimming while we were there, the back yard pool and small screened-in porch was so nice and private and would have been VERY enjoyable to hang out in!The hosts were extremely responsive before and during our stay. Whole family said they would be delighted to come back for another stay.
