"Cute little place. Had everything we needed. Perfect for Grand canyon exploring.I wasn't aware it was a twin tiny home. I could hear neighbor's perfectly. Only complaint is the bed didn't have a mattress protector."

"This was perfect for our one stay. I would not like to stay to many nights with the amount of people we had though. We were six adults and it was fairly crammed, but clean and totally worth the money."

"The cabin was very clean when we checked in. Road to the cabin was bumpy but not too bad. The only con I had was I had 2 minor issues with doors on property and was told someone would be out to look at/ fix them and in the 3 days we were there never saw anyone to address these issues even though I was told someone would be out. All in all not bad and would probably stay again. "

"I’d say all as advertised. Well priced and this is a much needed close option for a multi day Grand Canyon trip. Especially if, like me, you can’t find or don’t want to pay the premium of staying inside the Grand Canyon Village. The road (county gravel) is washboard/rough but flat and not difficult to traverse. It is in a trailer park vibe but only one mobile home looked unkeptI wish these hosts and this venture the very best."

"This is a very nice hotel with up to date clean rooms, an wxcwllwnt restaurant, and helpful staff. Parking is easy, and it’s in a good central location near the expressway. Breakfast is not included and is a little pricey, but the room rates are generally reasonable."
"We stayed in February 2026 and it snowed everyday. Just Beautiful. I would compare this to a Best Western Plus. Great location, clean area, clean room, cinder-block walls, nice TV, you can hear your neighbors when they are a little to loud, one of the most comfortable king size beds I have ever had in a hotel, nice heater, clean bathrooms, great parking with extra wide spots to avoid door dings, a wonderful staff, food is ok but pricey. Also love staying in the grand canyon camp grounds, but the yavapai lodge is truly a joy and well worth it. This was a great choice on this visit. You can also choose to have daily room service or keep your privacy and just ask for more towells, coffee, cups, etc. when you need them, or get them at the checkin desk. They are very accompadating. The only 1 negative is having to use an 3rd party online service to book the reservation.
Final comments to all of the staff at the Grand Canyon South Rim Yavapai Lodge, is thank you for a wonderful stay... Barry from socal."
