"What you get for the money is absolutely a ripoff! Check in is at 4pm and the pool closes at 8pm??? When your 12 year old says "it's a cool place, but definitely not worth it", speaks volumes. He didn't even want to go into the pool the next day, and was ready to leave at checkout. I came away greatly disappointed. For the same distance traveled, will go to Big Kahuna next time! "

"We had booked to stay at the Fairfield for four nights. We were awaken at 5:30 am with a fire alarm, again 45 minutes later and again 45 minutes. We got up and left to help family and then when we returned that night it was still going off and the owner did not feel it was Important enough for him to come get them fixed. He never showed up. The front desk was honest and truthful and we asked for our money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR GUESTS!! We didn’t matter and it showed."

From the cozy furnishings to a fully prepared fire pit to decently fast wifi, we kept having little moments of delight throughout our stay. The owners were quick to respond to our questions, and the location was perfect. We hope to stay again sometime. If we had any critiques it would be the need for an insurance payment up front, but it makes sense. The property was well taken care of, and it helps ensure that the place stays nice in the future.
