「Older motel across the highway from the lake, with small but newly updated and sparkling clean rooms (and bathrooms) that include a mini-fridge, coffee maker, bottled water, and breakfast bars as complimentary amenities. Dogs allowed for a fee. Parking lot can fill up, but side-street parking is available if that happens. Walkable to Main Street. It’s on a busy main drag in and out of Ashland, so traffic noise might disturb light sleepers. Friendly, helpful office staff (Al).」

「Katie and Dave are amazing hosts and the property is exceptional. Their attention to detail in each room is apparent and watching the sun set over Lake Superior was awesome. Would highly recommend the Blue Wave Inn if you are ever in the area. A trip truly worth taking.」
