"The property claims to be an Elegant, Chic Retreat. Not one of those words were relevant. Check in required me (71) to bend down on my knees below a set of front stairs to retrieve the keys from lock box. (3 sets of keys) The room was bottom floor with a window out onto a street ( semi below street level) so that anyone walking past looked straight in. "The apartment was in a great location, so close to Finsbury Park tube station, M&S, coffee shops and restaurants. It was clean and well looked-after, and the managers were very accommodating when we arrived early and needed somewhere to store our bags. The only issue experienced was with noise on the Friday evening, but this was out of the building manager’s control."

"Lovely old renovated building, substantial room, comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly. Excellent location. Adequate breakfast. It would have been good to have a mini fridge in the room and an extra topsheet as the weather was warm. Some more outside seating would also gave been nice. Definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Amazing value given the history of the building and the location cannot be better for downtown Luton. Great to have facilities like tea and coffee, and breakfast was from a small but essential selection. Room were nice, using a fan rather than air conditioning. Which was ok. "

"The reception staff were so helpful. This was a very last minute booking so they were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel room was very spacious and clean and had everything you’d need for a short stay. The breakfast was also very good and had plenty of options."
