「Overall, a really good hotel. I'd give it 5 stars for cleanliness, it was spotless. The only issue were the mattress, which was quite uncomfortable on one side and definitely needs replacing, and the parking space, which was very small and made parking a bit tricky. The location was great, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit the area.」

「NICE STAFF GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, CAR PARKING ok SHOWER PRESSURE NOT GOOD」

「The staff’s service was excellent.」

「Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「The Monk Bridge House is an amazing treasure in a perfect location for exploring York. The owners are attentive and the service is exemplary. Definitely worth a visit.」
