「My family rented Whispering Pines this past weekend and had a great time. The host was very friendly and responsive! Their house was clean and welcoming and plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed. It was a good 25 mins to Lake Placid to see the Olympic sites and to stores but that wasn’t terrible. Was a quiet and peaceful vacation! 」

「We had a wonderful time in the Barn cabin, it was very comfortable and clean, it was well stocked and everything we ere looking for for a couple quick nights way. Check in & finding it was very easy with the instructions provided even though we arrived after dark. Would definitely recommend! 」

「The cabin itself was nice, very clean, and had all the amenities I needed to cook dinners and enjoy time by myself. The owners were accommodating and responded quickly to messages. They even mailed an item I accidentally left behind without hesitation! I would absolutely stay here again!」

「We just had a wonderful stay at the Log Cabin. Three teenage boys who are best friends and their moms who are friends all stayed here for four nights. The kids loved having their own “homes” with the outbuildings and the three moms enjoyed having their own bedrooms with very comfy mattresses. The home was clean and cute, a most interesting house. 「We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful, quiet cabin. The master bed is comfortable; the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, bowls etc; TV space is cozy; convenient location. We enjoyed the front porch - a calm, relaxing place away from it all. We even heard a few owls. We had an issue when we arrived and the owners were understanding and responsive. 」

「Place was spacious, comfortable, and clean (to the point there was an overwhelming Lysol smell on entry). My only criticism is that the pictures made it look like a fairly isolated cabin, whereas it is part of a larger complex with the nearest other cabin about 20 feet away. There are also train tracks that run just behind the property and a couple times each night/early morning the cabin would shake as the very loud train chugged by. Not the fault of the owner, but would have liked to know...

「Very cute little chalet. Everything felt well maintained and clean upon arrival. The property was quiet and felt private. Loved that there was a fire pit right outside of our chalet. Communication with the owners and check in/out was super easy. Would love to stay there again」

「I would only recommend this for adults, not appropriate at all for kids. Maybe older kids scary steep to walk down to the water no air conditioning no screens in order to keep the windows or doors open inside. The house is very pretty. The view from the deck is very nice. The kitchen is beautiful. The living room downstairs is nice getting up and down the stairs though it’s a spiral staircase. There are four bedrooms 」
