Log Cabin on the Hudson

Enjoy the serenity and relaxation offered at this beautiful Hudson River location. "The River House," as we refer to it, is a beautiful log cabin surrounded by mountain views, river views, and wood views. Take a seat on the front lawn and enjoy the tranquility of the river.

The River House's location is central to many area attractions, such as Lake George, Six Flags, Gore Mountain, and Saratoga Race Track.

The owners are located nearby for any questions or assistance you may need. A pack and play is available.

There are three external surveillance cameras located on the property. Two are located on the corner of the cabin pointing towards the garage. One is outside on the side of the house facing the propane tank fill station. The cameras are disarmed when the house is occupied.

Everything was so pleasant and cozy in the mountains! Loved the hot tub and proximity of activities to do. However, it would have been great if both bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner/body wash to use just in case. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

Cabin in the woods

Our family absolutely loved our stay! The house is so beautiful! The kids loved the playground. We all loved making s’mores at the fire pit. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 9. The house is in a private wooded area with the river across the road. You can not see the neighbors once you are on the property. It was only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake George. We are definitely planning on staying at this house again next time we go on vacation.

We loved our stay at this place. The location is great and it’s a short drive to lake George. Great fire pit and lots of room. The deck overlooks the Hudson River which is great for fishing. The property was perfect for our trip (two families with three kids). Very clean and the only issue we had was no cell service and spotty internet which given the location is to be expected. Great view of the Hudson river and a perfect location for our trip (we went to both Gore Mountain and Lake George).

We had a really relaxing stay here! The best part was definitely the beautiful river view — especially from the second floor through the large window. It was so peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. There were no basic bathroom supplies provided (like shampoo, body wash, or a hair dryer), so be sure to bring your own. Wonderful Getaway

This home was just as promised on-line. Alyssa was a wonderful and responsive host. The house was very clean with newer appliances. We used the fire pit nightly and views of the Hudson River were our constant companion both inside and outside. We were surrounded by serenity and nature but only 10 min from Main St and an easy drive to the beach, kayaking, hiking, etc. A wonderful vacation spot for our group which was aged 4-74.
