"Love the history and character of this hotel. The service is incomparable and the staff is amazing. Bedding was very comfortable. Jansz restaurant was wonderful as was the Pulitzer Bar. I do wish our room had better lighting but that’s a minor issue. Great location! We hadn’t intentionally planned to be there on King’s Day and it was a bit overwhelming. The staff was helpful in informing us on what to expect and made us feel very comfortable with available services when we wanted to take a break from the outside. Highly recommend the Pulitzer!"

"Room Mate Aitana excellent quality hotel. Plenty of variety at breakfast, constantly refilling. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location perfect for exploring Amsterdam and 15 minute walk from Centraal Station, Metro and Tram"

"The bathroom smelled of sewage and the faucets were age old and dripping. Bed was good enough but overall this place was absurdly expensive for hostel levels of comfort. The location is good, though I consider this of secondary importance in a city as small and accessible as Amsterdam."
