"The breakfast menu was good, although there was no full cooked breakfast, with an extensive buffet selection. The bar was well stocked with a good selection of gins."

"Very close to everything. Perfect location. Nice day time staff, night time staff wasn’t super friendly. Stairs are a lot, they’re very steep so if you have a lot of luggage not the choice for you. No elevator. Small room. Not dirty but not super clean either. Don’t clean rooms during your stay, stayed for 3 nights, only asked to come in and clean once at 4 pm. By then we were chilling out for a bit before going back out for the night. Overall pretty good for the price paid. "

"Danny and Karim on Reception were outstanding, super friendly and so helpful. Hotel has real character and is ideally placed to explore Amsterdam. Room was not particularly large but was ideal for our needs and is what we looked for when we booked. Excellent bathroom and facilities/'Rituals' toiletries - super! The newly opened restaurant - food was excellent, staff could be more friendly/personable."
