"Really enjoy staying at the edge water but The staff at registration/check in needs to be trained on friendliness and courtesy."

"All interior and exterior areas are in a state of disrepair. Floors outside the rooms slant terribly and are made from plywood panels. The floors in the rooms are wavy and have soft spots. Everything needs painted. The girl at the desk just pointed to where our room was located - no directions/no map. On the second day there was a long line at the desk because all room keys in several rooms were programmed for just one night instead of the duration of the stay. Many lights on their signs and facade were burned out. Very run down. I was fooled by them calling it the “New Pioneer”. Nothing new. Nothing renovated. Nothing nice. "

"Little depressing. Slots were wound tighter than a clock! Beds were HARD as well as the pillows. No coffee rooms, refrigerator was on its last leg-entire building smelled of heavy smoke! We were booked for a 4 night stay, ended up leaving on day two. Not allowed to have water bottles by the pool-"

"My stay was for the weekend before the Cinco de Mayo 2026. Hotel dated, there are not security cameras in the hallways. You could hear people talking in the hallways when they went by. The beds were hard both me and my daughter woke up with our backs hurting. We travel quite a bit, and we use the shampoo, conditioner and body wash that the hotel provides. Generally, it is large containers that are attached in the shower. I thought the buffet for breakfast was very skimpy on their breakfast options. Good thing we didn't have to pay because my friend had comps. Also went to the dinner one night and I was not impressed. Both of my friends that ate the seafood has stomach issues that night. The casino was fine and some other places to eat were ok We ate at the Aquarius and their restaurant options were better. We did enjoy the water taxi and going to the other Casinos. Best part of our room was that we got the river view."

"To start off, upon arriving the hotel only had 1-2 valet drivers for the entire hotel leaving people outside for more than half an hour to get their vehicle, then to check in was only ONE lady doing all the booking. Charged me an upgrade fee because I wanted two beds instead of just the one king bed.. This hotel was disgustingly dirty. The first room had dirt, mold and stains on the ceiling along with holes on blankets and cabinets breaking off and falling off yet this was their "renovated new side building" I complained gave me a new room after charging me the upgrade fee and taking 2 hours for the entire process, just to get into another room just as dirty. At this point my mother in law started cleaning it herself because the kids were exhausted and just wanted to go swimming there was stains on the blankets, holes, pillows were dirty and inside out, glass behind the bed was greasy and dirty from someone else prior, shelves and cabinets were falling off as well. The pool was so dirty, not enough chairs I'm Seven months pregnant and had to sit in the floor with all our things because there isn't enough room, along with a smell that lingers like a gas leak or sewer water and the view you get from the family view is trash and what looks like homeless people property in the back. In the adults pool is a little better but still needs maintenance and idk more life. The jacuzzi is gated up. Overall my stay was a disaster and horrible I will never stay there again."

"The hotel is probably the best for lake Havasu. Old school vibes with modern amenities. The bar and restaurant is great and has good value. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again."
