About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Alpine Star Lodge - Roam Property Management

The Alpine Star Lodge is surrounded by aspen trees and beautiful mountain views, with from the door access to forest trails for all of your outdoor adventures, summer and winter! It is a perfectly situated adventurers retreat, located in a quiet rural subdivision only 8 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the town of West Yellowstone.

The home offers a very cozy rustic Montana mountain cabin feel but offers all of the amenities of modern living. It also has plenty of room for a larger group with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and has everything you'll need for your best home cooking. The dining room has a large table that seats up to 10 comfortably, and there are also two outdoor picnic tables and a BBQ grill for meals that are best when enjoyed outside.

The living room offers a flat screen HD TV, satellite internet service for streaming your favorite apps, and a Bose stereo system, along with games and a library of DVD movies.

A wrap-around covered porch with rockers is a favorite spot for enjoying the morning and evening light. There's also a lovely love seat swing for those so inclined, and a fire pit with log-plank bench seats. Smores anyone?

The lodge has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located on two levels. The main level has the kitchen, dining, and living rooms along with one bedroom containing a queen bed and access to the main level bathroom. The upper level has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a California King. The bathrooms are not attached to the bedrooms. One bathroom has a tub and one has a shower.

If you need even more room, we have another similar sized home, the Blue Spruce Cabin, on an adjacent lot that would create a cozy next door situation with a group of up to 24 guests!

There is plenty of room in the driveway to park snowmobile or boat trailers!

*Although 4 wheel drive is not required to get to the house, we definitely recommend it for our area from November - April, as road conditions are often "snowpacked and icy".

There was plenty of room for us all. The fire was nice on the chilly nights. We did have a few issues with the living room tv but eventually figured it out. Overall, my family would stay there again.

We were a group of four couples that wanted a nice place to stay while we visited Yellowstone. The house is comfortable, and a good location near West Yellowstone and the national park entrance. It was a perfect size for our group. We didn’t spend too much time in the house, but the kitchen had everything we needed and there was enough space to prepare food and enjoy our meals and downtime together. We really enjoyed our stay!

Property was exactly as we expected. We had a couple of questions while we were there and the managers responded quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

It was awesome for each of us to have our own bedroom and so many bathrooms, plus the kitchen had literally everything and more for cooking. Great movie selection too. Quick drive to the nordic trails in West Yellowstone - Rendezvous and River Trail. Great place!

Stayed for 4 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Location is close enough to be a quick trip to the gate but away from the downtown. Enough space for our family of 7 adults - big dining table, enough bedrooms, everything we needed. A fave was the fire pit outside and the beautiful night sky. Also close to the local rodeo if you are interested. Roam management were great - answer any questions very quickly and made the check-in and out easy. We would stay again!

We had a great stay at the cabin with our 5 adults and 3 teens. The cabin's cell & wifi coverage is limited, but that was expected. We used the landline to make a reservation for ATVs in town because service was spotty - so the landline was nice to have! Clean place with a well appointed kitchen. We spent lots of time on the patios! Overall, would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Alpine Star. It was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. We weren't there much, but if we'd had more time, we could have relaxed and really enjoyed the place. The only thing that would have made the stay even better is if there were exhaust fans in the bathrooms upstairs. There were 7 of us using those bathrooms. I know that the downstairs bathroom had one. But other than that, everything else was perfect!

This rental was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 teens. Nothing fancy, but the home is nestled in a cluster of Aspens just 8 miles from the Yellowstone entrance. We so appreciated coming home to this peaceful spot every day after our excursions in Yellowstone. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were fine (high praise from me because I am super picky about beds!). The three bathrooms were a luxury that we all appreciated. We loved sitting in the swing out back and just relaxing after our long days in Yellowstone. This is an awesome alternative to camping: hot showers, comfy beds and a great kitchen to cook in!

This is a great location just a short drive to the entrance of Yellowstone on the west side. Everything was included at the property that would be regularly used. There were plenty of dishes and hooks in the bathroom (thank you for thinking of these details) for towels. There was even a very friendly neighborhood fox that visited each night (no we did not feed it!). The only recommendation we have would be to put some brighter light bulbs over the dining table, it was a bit dark for older people to see to play games at night, but the very large table was fantastic for a full family.

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was comfortable, roomy, and so homey. We had two adults and five teenagers, and this house fit us very well. The big kitchen table was perfect for eating and lots of games afterward. I particularly loved how well stocked the kitchen was: tons of plates, bowls, silverware, pans, serving bowls, everything I needed. I made spaghetti one night, and I was delighted to find that there was actually a pot big enough to cook the pasta, and another big enough for the sauce. That isn't always the case in rental homes! This home is close enough to Yellowstone that we were there in just minutes. We will definitely be staying here again.

Firstly, Hostess Mindy went over and beyond helping us. I preferred a feather instead of a foam pillow for my injured neck and reached out to her. Within a hour I had 2! For my family of 7 gathering from all over the globe, reuniting in this spacious living room, dining room and kitchen was the best. Furnishings offered comfort and ease for all of us to sit together in the living room to watch one of the house CDs. A River Runs Through It. One cannot be in this area without reseeing this film in the evening. It is closely located near the West Yellowstone entrance as well as having a wonderful exploring trail into the wilderness at the end of the street. House has all basic kitchen ingredients to eat your brought food as well as clean up afterwards. Over and beyond, upon leaving, 2 days later, Mindy offered to go through the discarded trash in hopes of finding some accidentally discarded jewelry. No one I know would ever offer to do that. I only wish I was still there in that home now! Thank you Mindy!

Property is extremely well equipped with everything one might need. I stayed in many VRBOs but this one was far superior in all your needs. The kitchen had more "stuff" than any place I stayed in before. Very convenient to Yellowstone National Park. 15 minute drive to the main gate. 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms make it a great place for couples whose spouses may have snoring problem. Everyone can have their own room. The upstairs bathrooms have no exhaust fans but if you limit your "business" to the ground floor bathroom it should not be a major problem. Overall the place is great and if I return, I willdefinitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The location was very convenient, the house was very clean and well equipped with linens, kitchen supplies and cookware. There were games :and videos for all ages. There was plenty of space! The only downside is the internet/cell service really didn’t work so don’t look to use it. We did love the place!

We had the Alpine Star and the Blue Spruce. They share a backyard which was perfect for our family reunion. We visited the National Park a couple of days, Yellowstone Bear World near Rexburg, Hebgen Lake, and floated Henry's Fork of the Snake river ending at Mack's Inn. There's also a small rodeo just a hop, skip, and a jump from the cabin.
