「We liked the property and the room, the furniture and furnishings. All clean. Our stay was disappointing for three reasons. The fireplace was not working. We were promised breakfast vouchers but they were not given at check-in. We tried to find the innkeeper at about 10:30 the next morning but he was not to be found nor did he answer the phone. The restaurant would not credit us. When we told the innkeeper, he took responsibility for forgetting to give us the vouchers but would not reimburse us...

「It was a short stay but an awesome one. Newfane is a quaint area. The room itself was beautiful. It was nice and quiet; didn’t hear others. Very clean. Would loved to have stayed longer. A little pricey but then it again it was a last minute booking and also peak foliage season.」

「This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. 「Very unique B&B. Please note all rooms are upstairs, a steep, narrow case. We did not take in suitcases. Our room #8 had bathroom across a hall although we were told it was only ours. So a few unexpected twists. Bed was comfortable. Only one chair in room. Breakfast was tasty with numerous items available. Remote location with beautiful fall colors surrounding.」
