Welcome to Idlewild Ridge! Escape to our cozy mountain retreat located in the heart of the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. This newly built cabin offers stunning views, a peaceful setting, and all the comforts of home.

Perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this charming cabin is your place to relax and unwind in nature. Enjoy hiking, skiing, or simply curling up by the fireplace or on the porch with a good book. Book your stay & experience the beauty of the mountains firsthand.

Each home has 2 master suites as well as a pullout couch, sleeping 6 comfortably.

A fully functioning and stocked kitchen allows you to make your meals.

The porch is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in a rocking chair.

Curl up on the couch and enjoy the electric fireplace while watching a movie!

You’ll notice when you arrive, that there are multiple cabins.

Each one is private per guest and you’ll have access to a private porch, grill & fire pit

Idlewild Ridge is a unique spot with multiple cabins where you can enjoy the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains

Each cabin at Idlewild Ridge has it’s own gravel driveway.

4WD/AWD is always recommended but required from November - April.

If there is snow, any amount over 3 inches will be removed as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee when it will be removed.

Please note: there can be high winds in this area. Do not leave any items outside that can be blown away or knocked down
No parties

No loud music or noises

No smoking on the property

Bagged trash ONLY in outdoor trash can - if loose trash is found, there is a $50 fee (someone has to pull it out by hand, we do not have a pick up service)

Do not leave any trash to be burned in the fire pit

Please keep your pets quiet and off the furniture (an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be added if pet hair is found on the furniture - we appreciate your understanding!)

Pets need to be crated when you are not in the cabin.

As this is the mountains and we often experience storms and high winds, we sometimes experience outages of various kinds. They are almost always turned back on quickly and we won`t be able to give refunds for outages except for on a case by case basis. *If you know you need internet, please consider bringing your own hotspot to avoid missing important meetings

• If any important items are left behind after your stay, we are happy to mail them back to you! There is a fee of $30 + shipping to cover the cost of the extra time it takes to mail items back
