"Fantastic location and a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff was great. The bar & restaurant was wonderful. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed. I did not purchase any breakfast but was told they have the best breakfast sandwich in town. i look forward to staying here again the near future"

"A bit on the older end but in very good shape despite it's age. Huge hotel, very fast elevators which is a big bonus. No waiting. Great location and awesome for a Bears game."

"Location is great for downtown. Valet parking is pricey - $80/night. Room was spacious, clean and the bathroom was plenty big. However, I returned one night around 1 a.m. and was met with "I need to see your I.D....What room are you in?" I found this a bit off-putting, as I have never had to do this at any other property around the world in far more prestigious hotels. It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth on Royal Sonesta...."

"Great location. Near public transport. Full breakfast buffet. Evening cocktails and food voucher for Hilton Honors customers. Daily housekeeping. Only downers were no concierge for tourist assistance or loaner umbrellas for rainy Chicago travelers."
