「The cottage is very cozy, private, and in a beatiful setting. We really appreciated the upgrades that made our stay comfortable. The fenced-in yard was great for our dog. Take a note of a stone floor on the lower level. We had to cover it to be not too cold for the dog to lie on (in late October). The location is right on the water for kayaking and close to some well maintained trails for biking and hiking.」

「This was a completely hidden gem. I stayed here for one night because I was visiting a friend but I wished I had booked it longer. My friend and I ended up staying here the whole time. I woke up to the sounds of crickets and chickens, and had fresh eggs for breakfast. Then I went for a hike in the pristine woods. Matt and Grace offered to let me use the paddle boards to enjoy the lake! It was a total vacation… no need to go anywhere else. The camper itself was extremely clean and adorably...

「This VRBO has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Connecticut. The view and relaxing patio overlook paddlers on the Farmington River. The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. This was my second stay here and I would not...

「Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

「We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...
