「Very pleasant 2 night stay. There was a wedding on at the venue but we were informed prior to arrival and it wasn’t at all a problem 」

「Very clean in every area of the building including the pub! Staff are friendly, helping you with anything you need. Felt very welcome for the time we were there. Dog friendly and everyone in there loved having ours in there. 」

「When we arrived we were told by the landlady that the place was not a hotel as it was currently undergoing refurbishment. However the landlady and her mother were the most helpful, accommodating and kind people I have met in a long time. They gave us all food and drink, made telephone calls and even drove us to our rearranged hotel. They couldn’t have done more. When the hotel reopens it will be the best place to stay because of the kindness and welcoming of those who own and manage it.」
