Staff was very nice and professional. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a bit of cigarette smell, but would stay again.

No breakfast provided. Cleaning service attempted to enter room without knocking. The chain secured the door.

The house and location were perfect. A great view of the lake too. It felt private being down off the main road. If the owners would have us back, we would definitely stay there again.

Our host was wonderfully communicative and accommodating. As a surprise he put up a very tall Christmas tree which made a great backdrop for Thanksgiving family pictures.

We weren't there long enough to look around, but we did like spending time at Mermet Lake and seeing the wildlife there. We weren't sure if ALL of the snakes were dangerous, but they were fun to see from a healthy distance.
No reason to visit just passing through on the way to Chicago
We were driving through town to New Orleans. Did not do any sight seeing.
