"We had a 4 day stay in Garmisch and the accommodation was beautiful. A typical german style apartment. Very clean with everything we needed. There was a wellness suite in the basement with sauna, solarium and various other wellness bits. The rooms were very clean and the bed large and very comfortable. No oven or microwave, but a hob, fridge and TV. The collection of the key for the apartment was easy and just a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Germany. "

"Wonderful stay! We locked ourselves out and someone came to let us in within 30 minutes. The area was beautiful and had plenty of food and shops within walking distance. It was a quick 15 minute drive to Garmisch. The church across this street has a bell that rings between 6am and 10pm."

"My family of four spent several wonderful nights exploring Garmisch and Munich using Phillipe's apartment as our home base. The apartment is spacious, fully equipped and most importantly sparkling clean. Phillipe was a great host, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The location was perfect for easy access to sights as there is a bus stop at the entry way. Grocery stores are literally next door so it is easy to pop over for any food. "We arrived at the address provided by Stayz to find that the property differed greatly from the pictures and description on the website and was, in fact, a private home owned by an elderly man who never leased the property as a holiday rental. The property ‘host’ was not contactable via messaging on the Stayz website and the phone number provided for the host was not connected. The host could not be contacted by the Stayz customer service team either."

"I have to say I was extremely pleased with the property. It was clean, so very convenient to the Garmisch area and relatively quiet. The host was most pleasant, answered questions before our stay, during our visit and even after we had checked out! She handled everything beautifully. I walked every day into Garmisch and would have a cappuccino and croissant. It is also within walking distance to the ski area and the train up to the Zugspitze. "We loved our stay. It had a feel of better times, with kids playing together in a safe space, plenty of space for adults to hang nearby with good food and drinks. I loved the room which was very clean and had a retro style. So much space too! Don’t forget to pack your bathing suits. We didn’t and we’re disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool. The dinner buffet, and breakfast buffet were both very good. "

"The hotel was a great place to stay - it filled our needs and was a good value , clean and had a great staff . It is family run and a great find . Great location , beautiful scenery and friendly staff . Do not sleep on the breakfast - we have done a lot of travel and spent time at very expensive hotels - this breakfast is awesome . The owner / manager is a great host ( Andreas ) - highly recommend "

"The hotel is amazingly full of historical elements. The warm hospitality from the owners and staff was amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable with robes to use in the SPA. Breakfast every morning was an array of all foods to please. I especially enjoyed an evening where we dined on homemade soup Marianne made. We were 100% pleased and would highly recommend for a stay. Ski/Spa in Germany hidden gem

"Just came down for one night but enjoyed the spa facilities. Buffet dinner was good for the money and hotel was very pleasant with modern decor styling. Bring your rubber pool slides as quite expensive to buy from hotel shop on a Sunday if you forget them !I would like to come back to stay on a ski holiday. Very friendly people in town and had a great time going up the Zugspitze . "

Love Quellenhof!!

"We stayed at Quellenhof Hotel 3 times during the weeks we visited our son in Garmisch. Each time we stayed on a different floor - every floor has a beautiful view of the Alps! The rooms were always clean. Be careful to adjust the shower curtain just right or water will leak onto the floor. I encourage everyone to stay here! Ask for the bus pass while you stay. Grainau has great restaurants and shops! Beautiful village!"
