「The accommodation in the annex was a little way away from town, but walkable. We arrived a bit early, trying to avoid the rain on bicycles - but staff were understanding and prioritised getting our room ready. Felt uncomfortable arriving by bike, as no options for storing the bikes were provided, and perhaps this might be considered as the location is on the Rebellion Way, which many touring cyclists are doing.」

「Great service, friendly staff. The one downside was no overhead shower, just a bath with a handheld shower. As the accommodation isn't very old (unlike the beautiful old pub) it was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker.」

We had mixed weather and the private garden with its covered barn was brilliant for our dog. Our host was very welcoming providing a more than generous hamper and treats for the dog.
