Serene Lake Martin luxury retreat (located in Eclectic)

"Our family has enjoyed this home for several vacation stays. My husband and I take our children and grandchildren yearly and the house is absolutely ideal for a family trip-plenty of bedrooms (each with its own spacious bath) and so many spots to sit together for talking, snacking, etc. The owners designed a wonderful, open, light-filled space for separate conversations, a place to play games, a large dining table (with a water view!), and a wonderful screen porch as well as a spacious deck. We love the ease of walking down the yard to the large dock where there is plenty of area for water fun. The home is on a cove so boat traffic is minimal and waves don't disturb the peace or safety with the children. We put up a small game day type tent on the dock for shade that works well. The kitchen is well stocked with most anything guests need. (Plenty of dinnerware, silverware, glassware, appliances, and bakeware). The kitchen bar is a fantastic, open area for meal prep and stools are ideal for anyone to sit and eat or the grands to color. We appreciate the large grill on the deck for lots of meals. We do have to purchase ice almost daily though. The refrigerator ice maker can't keep up with the demand of a group. We just take an extra cooler to keep ice for drinking. The hosts are so congenial and easily available for any questions. Your family will love this lake spot. It's deserving a of high rating. We look forward to our next stay in this VRBO highlight."

"Our family has been spending a week at the lake for 4 years now. This is by far, the best place so far. The property was perfect for us with a wonderful screened in porch & plenty of shade. The house has everything a family could possibly need & the host & owners were very helpful with anything we needed. We had a kids from a young age to 69 & every age was happy with the property!"

"It was perfect for a quick weekend getaway for the 4th of July! The boat ramp is super close! It’s tucked in nicely into a cove so the boat wasn’t getting hit with waves. We were able to see the fireworks without getting out on the boat at night which made my momma heart at ease. Such an easy walk from the house to the water. Kitchen is nicely stocked and we loved that. Full size washer and dryer was amazing so i was able to get everything clean before driving home. Parking is very nice as well. If you forget something, there’s a dollar general minutes away. Cute little lake restaurants close by. Such an easy drive to get there which is always nice! Great lighting on the porch at night but also didn’t attract a million bugs. We made beautiful memories this weekend! Thank you for sharing your home "

"We stayed in this lovely newer open-concept home for 4 nights/5 days for a recent wedding. Communication was friendly and immediate. We used only one bedroom which has a private bathroom with tub/shower combo but there is a second bedroom with 2 bunks for 4 more people with a full bath. Plenty of seating at the kitchen island and dining room table. Everything we needed was supplied in the kitchen (pots/pans/cooking utensils) and everything was super clean! The living area was spacious and full of light. Sweet front porch with chairs to relax. Nice deck in the back complete with hot tub and grill. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sunshine on the back deck. Nice washer/dryer setup as well. Definitely recommend!"
