「Absolutely amazing stay at the Rookery Hotel. Staff all went above and beyond. Truly exceptional Hotel set in the most amazing grounds. It was my partners birthday and they really went out of there way to make him feel special. The restaurant was beautiful and the food created by some very talented chefs was delicious. We will definitely return x」

「This hotel is in a very old Tudor style building with heaps of charm and quirkiness. This is a popular and busy pub/restaurant/hotel. Our room was on the top floor with access by stairs with high risers. The double bedroom was small with only one bedside table and no cupboards and only one stool so it is best suited to a one night stay. The room was clean and tidy with again the charm of an uneven floor which is not a problem just be aware. As the room is close to the roof it can get very warm...

「Ｂ＆Ｂには初めての滞在でしたが、 部屋はかなり狭く、寝るだけ、という印象ですが、 ホストの方が、とても気さくで、つたない英語でも、 たくさん会話していただき、 現地の生活の様子がとてもよくわかり、良い滞在だったなぁ。と思います。 道向かいにあるおすすめしてもらったレストランも、とてもよかったです。 滞在した人の国や県をプッシュピンでマークしていました。 日本人はまだ二人目だったので、ぜひ行ってみてくださいね。」

「Selected Wheatsheaf based on location travelling from Scotland to South Coast. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna」

The staff are friendly and efficient, the room was super with a comfy bed, large modern bathroom and spotlessly clean all around. Meals were good value and very tasty and the whole place seemed to be very well run. We'd certainly visit again and wish the Royal Oak team every success for the future.」

「The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent But the whole spa experience is not worth the money」
