Loved all of the wood beams, crooked stairs; walls, etc. Nice bar and restaurant on main floor. Helpful staff.」
「Hotel and room is clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Free parking which is very good. Breakfast was tasty and lots of choice of hot and cold food. Bed was comfy and slept well. Had window open and it was quiet all night. 」

「From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in.
In the bar area the bar staff were very attentive and cheerful, such a pleasure, and there was a lovely lounge style area in which you could enjoy your drink and chat. 「when I arrived I had had a bad experience at a earlier hotel I stayed at. Top floor room,steep stairway from ground floor and toilet on an other level. So when I arrived early at the waverley the staff very kindly switched me to a ground floor room when I told them of my previous hotel difficulties. The waverley did not do evening meals but invited me to use a take away and bring it back to hotel where a plate and cutlery would be provided for me to use which was very kind.」
「Excellent - atmosphere, layout, decor. What a lovely place. Staff were extremely welcoming, design of the room was lovely with everything you could need. Even a fan!
Only tiny issue was it was a very hot night and the window is very small and therefore it was very difficult to circulate cool air.
Breakfast was delicious.
Would certainly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area .
