「Mini getaway from Chiang Mai in the rural tranquillity of Takita. Enormous, beautifully appointed rooms. overlooking rice paddis. All staff were very professional and helpful.. The view of the mountains were spectacular, watching the cloud formations.」

「DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! BEWARE! Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed.They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel...

「A wonderful rustic retreat after Chiang Mai. The grounds are a riot of orchids and flowering plants with a plunge pool and stargazing platform, The mountain towers one side and it is super quiet. Our room was clean, comfortable and Malee and Kurt werevery hospitable. Kurt guided us on an amazing (and rigorous) hike. 」

「the hotel has a very beautiful view ! but hot tub didn’t have hot water, place was dirty in my opinion like shower had rust and wasn’t the cleanest. There was a bird stuck in the room chirping all night. We only completed 1/3 day stay. Staff was very friendly. this place is also in the middle of nowhere do not recommend you drive here at night so many curves and NO light 」
