Welcome to Your Happy Place! This home has a spacious living room, dining room and powder room on main level with newly renovated kitchen. Hardwood flooring and natural light throughout all levels. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms with an updated full hall bathroom, two queen size beds, one twin with twin trundle bed as well as a queen and sofa bed in the basement unit. Backyard provides space for 1-car off-street parking and the brand new patio is perfect for soaking in the sun!

The basement features an additional Queen bed, pull-out sofa, bathroom, and kitchen area. Perfect for large groups, or those who like lots of extra space!

The Space:
Perfect for families, business travelers or your everyday tourist; our stunning house is the perfect place to walk to from the metro and spread out.  The home is not shared, you will have access to the full home including lower level.
We can comfortably sleep 8 guests by use of the below;
~ Queen sized bed in the primary bedroom sleeps 2
~ Queen sized pullout bed in the second bedroom sleeps 2
~ Twin size bed with twin trundle in the third bedroom sleeps 2
~ Queen sized bed in the basement
~ Pull-out sofa in the basement

The full kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and anything else a Chef might need - perfect for whipping up anything from a family breakfast to a feast fit for a King! For those hoping to experience some D.C. cuisine, we`re a short stroll to Upshur St where you can enjoy one of the many popular restaurants!  

The formal living / dining room has space for at least 8, so folks can unwind together in the super interactive living area. Perfect for decompressing after traversing the city, guests can slink back in the super comfy furnishings to discuss the day & plan the adventures for the next.

The home boasts excellent WiFi, several laptop friendly workspaces, and 2 TV`s with access to apps like Netflix, HuluPlus, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, and more; so guests can continue binging on their favorite shows before bed, the perfect way to zone out after information overload from the city. The TV in the living room does offer cable in addition to smart streaming. 

Lastly, we can provide on site parking at the rear of the residence, a true rarity in the District!

Queens Chapel neighborhood is a suburban neighborhood just north west of the city, a very close knit community. Some fun facts, there are more row houses and attached homes in Queens Chapel than nearly any neighborhood in America! It is also diverse, with one of the largest Sub-Saharan African and Haitian communities in the entire US. Super convenient only a 5 min car ride or 12 minute walk to Fort Totten metro station and the red line taking you downtown in 30 minutes. 10 minutes you can drive to beautiful Takoma park with playgrounds, amazing restuarants adn shops.

Our gorgeous 4 bedroom house can easily accommodate large groups for your memorable stay in DC. Washer and Dryer are in a common space, shared with the basement tenant. Please contact us directly for the code if needed.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire unit. The home is not shared.

The Neighborhood:
The Fort Totten neighborhood is newly trending and becoming popular with families and the younger DC crowd as it`s residential, but has great access to downtown. There is a true sense of community, and everyone looks out for each-other; porch culture reigns supreme, families pushing prams, and neighbors greeting each-other with smiles are common sightings!

Getting Around:
We are nestled close to Fort Totten metro, where you can catch the green, yellow and red line.  Our neighborhood is full of transportation options!  We`re a 20 minute drive from the White House (Uber`s are plentiful in the area), but there are buses that can take you directly to the National Mall in 35/40 minutes.
