Great Property, Neighborhood is Developing & Busy

The property was wonderful, so clean, well stocked and spacious. Love having a full bath for every bedroom. Owner communication is stellar! Property is great alternative to DC hotels and minutes from downtown. Renters just need to be prepared for construction in houses along the street/next door. The property is on a side street that gets a lot of traffic cutting through to the nearby interstate exit. It is also located a block away from a police substation so the sound of sirens all hours of day and night is common and not unusual for most parts of DC.

Gorgeous interior and rooftop!

After a hiccup involving some confusion over the street parking and whether or not we were actually allowed to park on the street overnight - the rest of our stay was amazing! The inside is gorgeous and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The rooftop patio was a very nice touch that I enjoyed throughout the stay. If only it was a little cooler, then my family would have joined me! The area was a little loud but from the inside - you can't really notice. Close enough to downtown and the highway, so getting around wasn't hard. Some concerns over communication with the host(s) makes me apprehensive to book here again but the house was so nice it pretty much made up for any issues.

Great location and spacious for a family

This townhouse was perfect for our extended family to visit DC. Easy, quick drive into downtown and the house had everything we needed, including parking right in front. The hosts were very communicative. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful unit!

Started off a bit rocky. We were approaching our check in time and hadn’t gotten any check in instructions. Reached out and were told unit wouldn’t be ready until 4, check in was at 3. Ended up being ready at 3;30. There is a LOT of traffic, especially during the morning rush. While not on a main road, people use the street as a short cut to get around the traffic lights at the corner. The neighborhood is a bit run down. We had an Uber driver tell us we were on the wrong side of the Anacostia River…. However, we did not feel unsafe at any time and no one bothered us. The unit itself was clean and comfortable. There were seven of us and it suited our needs quite well. It is nicely appointed and the rooftop deck is a great place to relax at the end of the day. There is a small green space in front of the unit but not much else for little ones to burn off energy. For that, Anacostia Park is a short drive away and it is also walkable. Not much in the area for places to eat. There are a couple convenience stores within walking distance. For transportation, we found that parking was not always easy to find so we relied on Uber. The listing does show a Metro station a 20 minute walk away but we did not test that.

Family Trip to DC

The house was nice and clean. The front door combination lock was difficult, we struggled with it everyday. The beddings were clean but worn. The location is in a loud and heavy traffic area..multiple uber drivers were afraid to take us to this area…traveling to DC it took us 25 minutes due to heavy traffic..
