「Very old building, lovingly maintained, with very modern rooms, best of both worlds. All the staff are extremely freindly and professional, the food is exceptional, great stay.」

「Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive...

「waterheadという場所にあり、amblesideの中心からは離れているが、歩いて15分だしまあまあなロケーション。 スタッフの感じは明るくアジア人に対しても差別は感じなかった。 朝ごはんのレベルは高く盛り付けは品がいい。 部屋はシングルだったが、ベッドはダブルサイズで清潔であり快適。アップグレードされたのかもしれないが。ただし部屋はロッジ風で宿泊客の通り道だったためカーテンをしておかないと外から中が見えます。湖水地方にしてはリーズナブルなお値段だったので、こんなものかも。セントラルヒーティング《ラジエーターと言いますが》完備。」

One thing, the double bed in room 17 is squeaky. The mattress is good! Bathroom is very clean! Thank you very much, we’ll come again definitely.」
