Traveler's Rest Cabin is a beautiful cabin located between Pine Mountain and Warm Springs, Ga, and has everything you'll need for a peaceful stay. Traveler's Rest Cabin is just minutes away from beautiful Callaway Gardens, Great hiking, FDR State Park, The Little White House and a short drive to Ft. Moore and LaGrange. Bring the whole family to this unique, premium cabin, to escape from the fast pace of life on a getaway with plenty of room for relaxing in the serene atmosphere, nightly campfires, or games with the family.

Traveler's Rest has the comforts of your own home, just bring your suitcase. Whether you're here for vacation, a quiet getaway, a wedding, or work, Traveler's Rest Cabin gives you all the amenities to make yourself feel at home. The cabin can sleep up to 6 people, so bring the whole family! Included is a full kitchen with all the utensils and appliances, (refrigerator with ice maker), for a home cooked meal, a charcoal Hibachi grill, an inviting concrete and stone fire pit and a large porch for sipping your morning coffee or hot cocoa. Traveler's Rest Cabin is ready for you to come, relax, and enjoy yourself!

Traveler's Rest Cabin also includes a laundry room, whole house water filtration, a concrete half circle driveway for ease of parking, HDTV with streaming capabilities, and Hughes Net Satellite internet. Paper Products such as paper towels, Napkins, paper plates, facial tissue and bath tissue are supplied by the cabin.

Family weekend

The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and close to both Callaway Gardens and The wild Animal Safari, which we visited with our grandkids. I would definitely stay there again!

Awesome stay & cabin

We like the area & the cabin. Very clean & stocked supplies. We had a great time around the fire pit at night. Close to grocery stores & shops in Warm Springs. We plan to go back!

Fall Break Away

This cabin felt like home away from away! The dogs loved the porch and pen and we loved not having to worry about them escaping! It was quiet, relaxing, clean, and comfortable! One of the beat places we have stayed!

Perfect Christmas Getaway

My husband, son and dog spent Christmas 2024 in this cozy cabin. It was absolutely perfect inside—cozy living room, nicely appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The outdoor area was breathtaking with forests surrounding us on all sides, so very private. Right in FDR State Park and 15 minutes to Callaway and Pine Mountain. Loved our stay and wished we would have added an extra day or two!

Callaway getaway

Very nice accommodations. Close to attractions (Callaway Gardens, The Little White House). Beautiful setting to enjoy on the evenings. The amenities at the cabin were very nice and we enjoyed our short but sweet stay. Hole to be back soon!

Peace isn't priceless...

This place is perfect. The location is tucked off with deer that come for a visit, a large fire pit and a deck that you can spend your day on. The only thing I was missing was a hammock. A great place to disconnect. I found a new happy place.

Much needed Get Away

We enjoyed our stay, just what we all needed. Our mornings and late nights were spent on the porches. Thank you for the snacks! We enjoyed the hummingbirds and deer! Loved how the master had been divided to make the adorable bunk room which is where I stayed, bed was very comfy! Loved morning walks, always felt extremely safe. We will def be back! Thank you for providing us a much needed get away!

The perfect cozy cabin getaway!

This stay exceeded all expectations. The cabin was exactly as pictured - if not even more spacious. We were 3 adults and two medium/large dogs and had plenty of room. The outdoor area was so unique and relaxing, and the gated doggy potty area was incredibly convenient. This property also had so many thoughtful touches. We stayed during Thanksgiving, so it was a bit chilly. But, there were so many blankets for us to use, and the kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking/baking needs including basic condiments that were in the fridge. This was truly one of the most comfortable and accommodating rental properties that we have ever stayed in. We were honestly sad to leave, and we can't wait to come back soon!

Quiet Solitude

The cabin was perfect. The owners thought of everything. Very accommodating. Comfortable. Inviting. It was exactly what we needed. We especially like how well thought out the pet are was. Have never seen anothe mr VRBO done so well for pets. The location to FDR State Park and surrounding towns was great. No traffic. No hassles. We love Pine Mountain. We will be back!

Excellent mountain getaway

We came up for the weekend and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Renay was very responsive and informative with our preparation inquiries. Upon arrival the house was very clean, and tastefully decorated. You can tell that it's well cared for. The amenities were perfect for us, as we utilized the pet area, back deck, and fire pit. The deck has a ton of space and comfortable seating. We slept 6 people comfortably and could have easily slept more people in the loft if needed. The house was very well stocked with just about every necessity, and there were some welcome snacks, refreshments in the fridge, and various types of coffee for the machine as well! We will absolutely be looking to reserve this house in the future.

Great location and so many extras!

Our host knew we were going to be arriving late, so she sent a message that she was leaving a few lights on for us. When we pulled into the driveway with our two teens and two small dogs, we saw a magical glowing cabin in a candlelit forest. Our kids couldn’t get out of the car fast enough! Inside was just as perfect- candles (LED) flickered around the living area along with little glass Jack-o-lanterns. Lovely! From a practical standpoint, our host had thought of and supplied everything one could possibly need: a nice snack basket, some drinks in the fridge, plenty of cookware, tons of extra pillows and blankets, even dog treats! Speaking of dogs, there was an awesome space right beside the cabin accessible from the back deck for pups to go potty with disposal bags and canister. This was definitely the most pet-friendly rental I’ve ever found on VRBO or other vacation rental sites. Our favorite part of the cabin was the huge back deck overlooking the nice fire pit area surrounded by woods. Our host was very prompt to respond when I had a question, and she was super helpful! The cabin was located very close to FDR State Park and hiking trails, and it was a very quick and easy drive to Callaway Gardens and the town of Pine Mountain. We rented bikes at Callaway, visited the butterfly house, and went back that evening to enjoy the Pumpkins at Callaway activities. Such a fun time in a gorgeous setting! Overall, great experience!
