This cosy wooden holiday home in Waltershausen, Thuringia in Germany can accommodate upto 6 people. Built entirely of wood and is situated at the edge of Fischbach, a village surrounded by woods in the heart of the Thüringer forest, it offers privacy and tranquility. Its isolated location on a private terrain with garden furniture makes it the ideal family home.

It is also an ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers, who will find many popular destinations in the area, such as the famous Rennsteig and the 950 mtrs high Insel Mountain. During winter, both the Insel Mountain and the famous Oberhof also offer great winter-sport facilities.

The home is centrally heated, there are two bedrooms on the first floor with double and single beds. In the living room on the ground floor, there is a charming fireplace, and the open kitchen is well-equipped.

Ein besonderes Haus in schöner ruhiger Umgebung. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und gut betreut. Das Haus ist sehr umfangreich ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort heimisch. Die Terrasse möchte man gar nicht mehr verlassen, aber gut, wir hatten auch viel Sonne. Man kann direkt vom Haus aus loswandern, wer Wald und Natur mag, findet viele Ziele.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Vermietern empfangen,die ganz in der Nähe wohnen. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung,konnten wir das sehr schön und ruhig ,am Ortsrand,gelegene Naturstammhaus,für eine Woche ,als wunderbaren Ausgangspunkt für unsere Urlaubsaktivitäten nutzen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig,gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Kind und Hunde freundlich.Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und übersteht schlecht Wetter Tage bestens. In etwa 100m Entfernung gibt es eine Gaststätte,sehr gutes Essen. Die nähere Umgebung bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten für sportliche,kulturelle und andere Betätigungen.

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum wandern und erkunden. Das Highlight de Hauses war der Kamin. Ansonsten hat man alles im Haus was man so braucht. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Einziges "Manko " ist die schlechte Anbindung an die elektronische Außenwelt, wer nicht im Urlaub darauf verzichten kann.

Das Baumstammhaus war in Wirklichkeit noch schöner, als auf den Fotos. Schon die Lage, einfach traumhaft ! Wir wurden bei unser Ankunft sehr freundlich von der Eigentümerfamilie begrüßt und zum Haus begleitet. Hier bekamen wir im Haus alles gezeigt und noch die eine oder andere Info. Im Haus selbst ist fast alles vorhanden ( z.B. Kaffee, Tee, Filtertüten, Gewürze, Küchenrollen usw.) . Für die Feriengäste gilt, Koffer auspacken und wohlfühlen ! Das Haus ist ideal für Aktivurlauber (Wandern , Radfahren) aber auch einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen. Der Familie Pfeifen, vielen vielen Dank für den sehr schönen Urlaub, den wir hier verbringen durften.

Wij hebben een leuke vakantie achter de rug. De ligging was zeer goed . Het was er zeer rustig. Het enige nadeel is dat de koelkast voor 4 personen een klein beetje te klein is maar het gaat wel. Eisenach,kasteel/zoo tambach zijn de moeite waard. Groetjes van familie de wit uit belgie

Een week in juni 2015. We, 4 volwassenen, hebben een fijne week gehad. Het weer zat erg mee. Het is een prima huis, misschien een te kleine koelkast voor 4 of meer personen. Maar heerlijk rustig, geen WiFi, geen DVD....mis je ook niet. Aan de voortuin grenst een openlucht theater, als er een voorstelling is moet je dat er maar bij nemen. En anders ga je toch een kijkje nemen? Heerlijk wandelen in de omgeving en lekker eten in het restaurant op bijna kruipafstand. Bij koude avonden lekker de kachel aan, het hout kost je niets. Met de hond ook superfijn!

Een zeer geslaagde vakantie erg vriendelijke eigenaars gezellig en goed verzorgde holtzhaus.De dorpsbwoners altijd tijd voor een praatje mede door onze zwitserse herder Dat de jeugd ook in een klein dorp zoals FIschbach zich niet netjes gedragen tijdens hun avondje uit was te zien aan de rommel die ze achter lieten in de door de bewoners aangelegde openair theater jammer Maar komen hier zeker nog eens terug

Das Haus ist etwas ganz besonderes und man kann sich nur wohl fühlen. Wir sind eine Woche mit Hund zum Wandern dort gewesen. Die Wanderwege gehen direkt vorm Haus los. Aber auch Schmalkalden,Eisenach und Erfurt sind schnell zu erreichen. Fischbach ist ein kleiner verträumter Ort für Leute, die ihre Ruhe suchen wunderschön!
