"Overall, the house was great! It is in a prime location and set on a beautiful piece of land. The neighborhood was very safe, quiet and peaceful. The house had lots of toys to entertain our kids and was well stocked for the beach.....beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie board and lots of towels. The only con of the house would be the cleanliness. The house could use a deep clean, specifically the kitchen and bathrooms. Also, another fan or 2 would be helpful, as it did get very hot some nights which...

"Our stay at The Makaha Shaka! was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, and well‑kept the property was. The villa is exactly as pictured, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail clearly created to make guests feel at home. The outdoor space is a dream. Waking up to mountain views, relaxing in the lounge area, and enjoying the pool and hot tub made every day feel like a private resort experience. The...

"Host was quick to respond with some issues we were having with the tv. Great place for two couples and loved the extra snorkel gear & chairs that the host provided. Thank you!"

"We had an awesome stay, the rooms were really spacious and super clean. The interior is calm and welcoming, everything was at its proper place and well furnished. Our 16 month old had a time of her life running around bare foot in the large house! The host (emma) is very kind, super responsive, and flexible. I wish we had stayed longer. "

"Wonderful family stay in a perfect location!"

"Perfect visit. What an awesome space. "

"Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Our family of eight stayed comfortably in the home, we all had plenty of space."

"The host was very attentive and was in constant touch with me on how our stay was and if we needed anything. The house was beautiful and was perfect for our trip. The house was in a gated community so we felt safe and was away from all the hustle and bustle. If we ever do get to come back, I would definitely stay here again!! "

"Only difficulty we had was finding the parking spot and condo. We were coming in at night in the rain so that didn’t help. Our stay was brief but we enjoyed it while we could. "
