Nice place, clean and close to the beach. Nice to have a king sized mattress, but for the money paid, it should have had the same size box spring. Bed was leaning down on the edges because box spring was not the same size. Location was good, a little hard to find in the dark but most of that was my fault.
Out the back door. Nice deck, but was raining so we couldn’t enjoy.

Location was not as specified. It stated it was a 7 minute walk to Turtle Bay and Palmer golf course but it is over a hour walk. The unit was filthy and appeared as though someone lives in the home. We inspected the home and decided to leave as it did not feel welcoming or clean enough to sleep. The place had a cat urine musty odor as soon as you open the door. When I let Vanessa know it was dirty she offered to come clean but why wouldn’t it have been ready not to mention with as dirty as it was it would’ve taken hours? And she couldn’t have done anything about the smell. She refused to refund us our money but it wasn’t worth staying and risking getting sick. There were live bugs on the floor crawling and dead bugs all over. The appliances were disguising and the refrigerator was full of condiments and random food. The cabinets had mold on the inside, there were expired prescription medicine in the cabinet too. When I let Vanessa know she asked why I would be going through cabinets. She said the bar stools were blocking access. The bar stools were so cheap they rocked and felt as though they would fall apart when sitting down. The AC is a portable unit but the venting going to the window falls out when you walk around the bed. The mattresses are really nasty and there is no where to put your personal items. This place is a mess one thing after another. Lastly when I let her know we left she continued to call and text me almost on the verge of harassment.

Great place near North Shore. Between locations we wanted to visit and quick drives to great beaches for kids to play. Would stay again on next visit to Oahu.

Disappointed. The location advertised was not the location we ended up in. The ‘new’ address was not a Turtle Bay (where the rest of our party was located - 16 other people) and it was not five minutes away as described. The VRBO was VERY dirty and had cockroaches. We tried to trap them but they are fast. We ended up closing the door to the smaller bedroom to trap the cockroaches inside it and rolled a towel to place under the door so they couldn’t get out. Then the two guests who were in the smaller bedroom had to sleep on the couch. The dishes inside the kitchen cupboards were dirty (glasses had lipstick on it). I would not cook in the kitchen and random food was left in the refrigerator. The cleaning fee is surprising and feels like a money grab because it certainly wasn’t clean when we checked in. I would not return again. We were only there two nights and it was two night too long. If we had been in any longer we would have cancelled and move to another place. Beware.

We booked a 5 night stay and ended up leaving after 1 night. The house is not maintained well and dead and alive bugs everywhere. Ended up booking a hotel for the remainder of our trip and the host has yet to respond to my complaints. Also this house is advertised at Turtle bay and looks to be next to the Ritz but it’s actually by Sunset Beach in a neighborhood that boarders up to the Mountain.

Vanessa was very nice but..Everything was dirty, drawers, bathroom,window sill and ceiling were discusting, musty, rug unvaccumed, roaches. BBQ and lanai unusable. Ripped seating. Under the house was full of crap. Couldn't even cook because it wasn't clean. Wouldn't recommend this house.

First off they lied about the location. It wasn't at Turtle bay as listed. It was near sunset beach. The place itself was not very clean. They had the closet in tje main bedroom locked so we had to leave our clothes in tje suitcases. No.place to hang towels in the bathroom. No hair dryers as promised . The a/c in tje bedroom made so much noise we couldn't sleep. We had reseved 7 nights. We moved out the swcond day. I texted tje owner and got no reply. I called VRBO. They sounded sympathetic and said a manager would call me back. No one called. What a scam!!!!!

I just returned from an amazing vacation in Hawaii, and I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful experience I had at this VRBO property!The location was ideal, with easy access to beautiful beaches and local attractions. This was a roach vbro rental! There were small ones in the place when we first checked in, but the big ones came out and were in control of the place. It was not a clean rental, there was grime around each of the bathtubs/shower areas. The drain in one of the bathrooms did not work properly. There was a hole in the door going to the bathroom. The washer and dryer were a joke, they were downstairs, under an open basement area. Towels were on top with dust and sand on them. The machines had an odor, and clothes smelt worse following use of the washer and dryer. The pillows smelt like body odor on the beds. The towels were colored and limited in the bathroom. There was a rat/musky odor under the sinks in the bathroom. Bar stools were poorly constructed. Parking was shared by other guest on the property, you had to pull forward for them to get by. Grass was unkept.Needless to say, when the roaches came out, we left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

We felt like we were staying in a National Park! The mountains surrounding the property are absolutely stunning. It was a very quiet and safe location for my family. There were even toys that the owner provided for our small children. The owner also let us use bikes and surfboards with no extra charge. The beach is just a short walk away. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We now know why they call it sunset beach. This area has the true feeling of Aloha.

Very comfortable property in the most beautiful area. The AC was cold, WiFi was high speed. We loved that we could just walk down to the beach for a dip in the ocean or to watch the sunset. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful home in a great spot on Oahu’s North Shore. It’s actually about a 10 min drive from Turtle Bay but still near beaches and food spots like Ted’s Bakery. My favorite thing about this place is that you’re tucked up against the mountain and the stars were so beautiful at night. Would stay here again!

The location is great, although advertising of it not accurate and misrepresented. Couldn’t get inside initially , zero response from host or follow up when help was requested. Upon entry place was full of live and dead cockroaches and geckos . Was not clean . Stove was deplorable . Dead spiders and cobwebs everywhere . Random left over food, condiments and frozen meals in containers in fridge . Pretty sure someone had been living there the day before or something . We got in during the middle of the night and I had to vacuum and clean after a 6 hr flight that had been turned around due to threatening tsunami. Zero communication. Ants under the cupboards and in toilet paper. Very misrepresented . As of this point VRBO has tried to reach out to host with also zero response so we shall see if anything changes .
