「Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.」

「We were in the worst room in the hotel. The others we saw were decorated nicely and upgraded with a frig and microwave. Our room had wallpaper pealing, cracks in the walls, a faucet dripping, and a brick openly seen under one bed post and a 2x4 under another to level the bed. We like the hotel for its rich history but our room shouldn’t be a rental! I would stay again at another room. 」
