「PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. It was the most disappointing hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy. 1. Outdated facilities — No fridge, no electric kettle, no elevator, weak water pressure, and extremely small shower space. Instead of key cards, guests are given a physical key. 2. Bug issues — There were many bugs around the property, and I even found dead bugs in the bathroom floor. 3. Poor accessibility and transportation —...

「We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. 「Had a wonderful stay. Staff very helpful. The panoramic view from the terrace of room 306 is amazing! We enjoyed staying away from the main touristy towns. Easy to get around on local bus with live updates on actual arrival time at your stop on your phone (rather than just timetable) really helpful. Free buses between Menaggio and Argegno after 7 pm during the summer months were an added bonus.」
