"I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but I couldn't because there are several issues that need to be addressed, especially regarding accessibility. The biggest concern was the lack of handicap-accessible access to the rooms. My mom had a very difficult time going up and down the stairs throughout our stay. To make matters worse, the steps in front of our room were being demolished during our visit, forcing her to walk an even longer distance to reach the parking lot. When we first checked in, the door to our assigned room wouldn't open. Thankfully, the staff immediately gave us another room, which we appreciated. The replacement room was comfortable overall, but one of the beds had a deep dip in the mattress, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The air conditioner worked well, although it was quite loud. The pool was another area that could use improvement. The only way to enter was by using small metal pole steps that became extremely hot in the sun, making them uncomfortable and even painful to hold when getting in or out. Installing proper pool steps at the front of the pool would make it much safer and more accessible for everyone. On the positive side, the restaurant was excellent. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. Housekeeping and the hotel staff were also courteous, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.Overall, the hotel was quiet, and we did enjoy our stay."
