「It is an older property that has had some recent upgrades. The price was right for it's condition and location. A lovely park was across the street and it was about 3/4 of a mile to the small downtown district. Leslie was quick to respond to questions. 「Very cool 1920s home and cottage. Kitchen and bathroom were well outfitted. Shaded by big trees and extremely well outfitted including great porch areas around the whole house! Back yard has a most wonderful lounge area with great seating for kicking back with coffee or drinks!」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Nettles Island. Were allocated a different house from the booking due to repair work but this one turned out to be also very nice. Nettles Island is a treat with pools locally and a designated beach, and lots of other activities like pickle ball, tennis, mini-golf, billiard. Great place for kids. Exchange with owner was very good and friendly. Anytime again!」

Be aware that you will be staying in a very old cottage; you are not staying at a luxury resort. The housing is adequate, but the grounds and location are the true sellers of this place. Host was quick to respond to our questions. loved the screened in porch and the access to an ice machine, games and toys close by if we needed them. . loved having a kitchen to cook if we wanted and it was nice and clean when we got there. location is close to the beaches. would stay again if we are down in that area.」

「Very moldy and mildewy cheap furniture, shower curtains, and mattress. Windows filthy and some inoperable. Porch screen had a hole they refused to fix. Bathroom sink did not drain. Kitchen was clean and all appliances worked well. Great concept, grounds, and dock. Guests were very nice.」

「This Vero property is worth a repeat visit. The owners are on standby with whatever you need as they live nearby themselves. We were down with another family for baseball at the nearby Jackie Robinson complex and the house accomodated 8 of us just fine. The location puts you near all that Vero has to offer and you are about 10 minutes to the beaches. It is worth noting that there is a garage on the property ( which consists of 3 lots ) that the owner uses throughout the week. He doesnt intrude...
